KZ5 Prospect

The KZ5 Prospect is located approximately two kilometres north east of the Main Zone gold deposit within the Aldiss Gold Project.

Identified in the 1980s as a gold-zinc rich polymetallic Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) style deposit, KZ5 returned some highly encouraging drilling results.  Despite these (up to 2.44 g/t gold, 0.15% copper and 1.5% zinc), the prospect was not considered a priority for its time.

Soil geochemical results from recent sampling conducted by Integra clearly indicate zinc enrichment along a north-south trending exhalative sulphide horizon extending along strike for 2.5 kilometres, including three discrete zones interpreted to be indicating separate exhalative vents.

Three additional anomalies have been identified to the east.

Integra is conducting drilling to test for massive sulphide mineralisation beneath geophysical / geochemical anomalies and has completed initial IP surveys, a multi-element geochemical soil survey and limited RC drilling at the KZ5 polymetallic (zinc-gold) Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) prospect.

This work has confirmed KZ5 has a very large (interpreted to be in excess of 2.5 kilometres strike extent) VMS system with limited shallow drilling to date returning very encouraging zinc-gold results (to 33.3 metres at 0.88 g/t gold and 0.55% zinc).

While these results are not considered to be economic of themselves, it should be noted that all drill results thus far are from disseminated / laminated to stringer sulphides and that predicted higher-grade massive sulphide zones have yet to be intercepted by drilling.

Integra is targeting massive sulphide mineralisation where there should be a significant increase in metal grade.
