Significant resources are currently focused on defining the underground production potential at the Santa, Maxwells and Cock-Eyed Bob deposits, which are expected to form the basis of Integra’s Phase 2 expansion of the Randalls mining development.
Integra has announced an initial exploration target for the Maxwells gold deposit below the base of the planned open pit of between 3.7 million tonnes to 6.4 million tonnes at a grade of between 5.6g/t and 7.0g/t gold containing between 580,000 to 1.3 million ounces ounces between 150m and 500m depth.
Recent high grade drilling results from Maxwells deep drilling have included:
- 9.77m @ 34.07g/t Au including 6.1m @ 53.11g/t Au;
- 12m @ 20.91g/t Au including 5m @ 46.26g/t Au;
- 4.2m @ 43.22g/t Au including 1.3m @ 123g/t Au;
- 12.4m @ 19.89 g/t Au including 6.7m @ 31.92 g/t Au;
- 11m @ 12.85 g/t Au including 4m @ 31.73 g/t Au;
- 3m @ 19.10 g/t Au;
- 16.2m @ 10.06 g/t Au including 1m @ 40.81 g/t Au and 1.5m @ 54.90 g/t Au; and
- 4m @ 13.68 g/t Au.
Recent high grade drilling results from Santa deep drilling have included:
- 4m @ 34.13 g/t Au including 1m @ 131 g/t Au;
- 4m @ 17.36 g/t Au including 1m @ 63 g/t Au;
- 4m @ 9.86 g/t Au;
- 12.3m @ 7.53g/t Au including 1.6m @ 26.09 g/t Au;
- 5.4m @ 7.69 g/t Au including 0.7m @ 25.08 g/t Au;
- 1.7m @ 12.68 g/t Au;
- 6.1m @ 7.09 g/t Au including 0.5m @ 37.63 g/t Au;
- 2.7m @ 5.99 g/t Au
Additional high-grade drill intercepts with underground production potential below the current Mineral Resources include:
- 2.1 metres at 46.70 g/t gold from 270 metres drill depth;
- 2.25 metres at 25.10 g/t gold from 217.1 metres drill depth
- 2.3 metres at 18.70 g/t gold from 235.7 metres drill depth
- 2 metres at 10.33 g/t gold from 140 metres drill depth
- 6 metres at 5.86 g/t gold from 126 metres drill depth
The latest drilling results continue to indicate that high-grade gold mineralisation within the BIF-hosted Santa Trend persists at depth with excellent potential for underground extraction and also persist along strike with excellent potential for additional open pit production.
The latest results, which confirm the depth continuity of BIF-hosted gold mineralisation at Cock-Eyed Bob include:
- 8.80 metres at 16.24 g/t gold from 324.20 metres drill depth including
- 2.25 metres at 51.25 g/t gold
- 4.2 metres at 14.99 g/t gold from 305.45 metres drill depth including
- 1.15 metres at 42.47 g/t gold
- 3 metres at 11.54 g/t gold from 166 metres drill depth
- 9 metres at 4.58 g/t gold from 132 metres drill depth
- 3 metres at 10.93 g/t gold from 167 metres drill depth
- 2.85 metres at 10.90 g/t gold from 347.15 metres drill depth
- 5.25 metres at 6.93 g/t gold from 270.55 metres drill depth
- 3 metres at 7.10 g/t gold from 189 metres drill depth
- 3 metres at 7.16 g/t gold from 176 metres drill depth
- 14 metres at 2.89 g/t gold from 121 metres drill depth
- 1 metre at 33.30 g/t gold from 130 metres drill depth
Importantly, the two deepest holes drilled to date at Cock-eyed Bob returned extremely high-grade intercepts of 8.80 metres at 16.24 g/t gold and 4.2 metres at 14.99 g/t gold with excellent potential to extend these high grades further at depth.
