Eastern Goldfields, Western AustraliaIntegra is pursuing an aggressive strategy of expanding the scale of the Company’s projects east of Kalgoorlie through acquisitions, alliances and exploration. The Company through its 100%-owned Randalls, Aldiss, Mt Monger Projects and Cowarna joint venture now controls a consolidated regional tenement package of approximately 2,000 square kilometres in this lightly explored but highly prospective region, where it is focused on compiling high-grade, high-margin resources. One of Western Australia’s most aggressive junior explorers, Integra’s annual exploration budget typically exceeds A$7 million. While it has identified 1.2 million ounces of JORC compliant resources, 79% of these in the Indicated category (20m x 20m drill spacing), Integra remains intent on initially demonstrating sufficient scale to establish and sustain a substantial long-term gold business at its wholly owned Aldiss-Randalls Project. Following a positive Scoping Study completed during 2006, the Company purchased the 1.8Mtpa former New Celebration processing facility. During the June Quarter 2007, Integra also acquired an option to purchase the Red Dale tenements, adjacent to the grass roots Salt Creek discovery made by the Company during the same Quarter. In July 2007, Integra also purchased a 40-person mining camp, complete with all fittings, appliances and equipment, and further enhanced its tenure position east of Kalgoorlie, executing an agreement to acquire the Mt Monger Gold Project from Solomon (Australia) Pty Ltd. Integra remains committed to identifying additional resources in order to ensure the Company can proceed with development without capital constraint and can fund further growth opportunities. |
